Facial aesthetic medicine is advancing and evolving rapidly, with the spread of cutting-edge products and innovative ways to use them. One of these new ways or methods is MD Codes or Doctors Codes. MD Codes is a system developed by my mentor Dr. Maurício de Maio, a Brazilian plastic surgeon, considered an authority in aesthetic medicine. Composed of codes formed by letters and numbers, the method guides the doctor and provides accurate information about the location on the face, the anatomical layer, ideal instruments, method of application and volume and type of product to be used. The MD Codes indication goes beyond rejuvenation.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

WHAT IS MD CODES?

MD Codes, abbreviation of Medical Doctor Codes, is a method that was created especially for doctors by the Brazilian, Dr. Mauricio deMaio, plastic surgeon currently considered the pope of aesthetic medicine, recognized worldwide. MD Codes was created to promote an effect of elevating facial tissues and enhancing their contours. For this purpose, hyaluronic acid is applied, a substance naturally present in the body that reposition the facial tissues that have suffered the action of gravity. Bone resorption is practically corrected, which gives support to the tissues eliminating the consequences of facial flaccidity. Its a microinvasive method, without scalpel. Only needles and cannulas are used.

WHAT RESULTS CAN MD CODES PROVIDE?

  • Facial volume replacement.
  • Improves facial support.
  • Improves facial contour.
  • Prevention of the early occurrence of sagging and wrinkles.
  • Minimizes existing wrinkles on the face.
  • All-natural facial lift without surgery.

No. Before the procedure an anesthetic ointment is applied to the face. As the product (hyaluronic acid gel) also contains a quantity of anesthetic, the application becomes painless. At certain points, the patient may feel discomfort but not pain.

Pregnant or breast-feeding women, autoimmune diseases(uncontrolled), known allergic conditions in a previous application, or history of severe allergic reactions (anaphylactic shock).
